Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. We have a full solar power back up system to covert the property of electrical power cuts during load-shedding. Please note that this system does not power the electrical induction stove and hot water geysers during load-shedding - we have provided a portable gas stove if needed. The load-shedding system is extensive and has a back up power supply of 4-5 hours. If load-shedding occurs in the evening, we ask guests to be mindful of power usage to ensure there is enough power to cover the load-shedding period. We do not allow guests to use the garage for parking, as we use this area for laundry & storage.
